DNF? I am still trudging trough Name of the Rose by Umberto Ecco – not giving up on it though since it is part of my BF challenge

Not happy but it was OK, as long as its over 10

2. If you had a 5 star read, what was it and why?
graphic novel Suicide Squad Vol. 1: Kicked in the Teeth by Adam Glass (Author), Federico Dallocchio (Artist) was very close to 5 star. It had my favorite Harley Quinn in it and the story was cool. Not bad on the eyes either.

3. If you had a 1 or 2 star read, what was it and why?
The Diaries of Adam and Eve by Mark Twain were kinda disappointing. I had bigger expectations from it I guess. What I got was a decadent piece of literature that annoyed me.
Blueyedboy by Joanne Harris was a total miss for me. It was one of those stories where nothing pulled me in and the characters were alien to me so I couldn’t relate to them which is strange since the story concept was interesting to me.

4. Any new book boyfriends?
None this month.

5. Any new jerks?
None really

6. Did you start any new series?
Two actually:
The Kategan Alphas series and Suicide Squad new 52 series First was shifter romance erotica and it was just ok but second was too good not to continue!

7. Did you find any new authors that you loved?
Must check some more from writer of Suicide Squad Adam Glass

8. Any book you would recommend?
The Dead, the Damned, and the Forgotten Dark Days Novel by by Jocelynn Drake – short and cute UF novella

Wonder Woman

I’m having issues with the actress that’s been chosen for the role of Wonder Woman.

This is what DC database has to say on the character:

Right now I like more how Kim Kardashian looks as a Wonder Woman

Than the actress Gal Gadot they choose for the role in the upcoming movie Superman Vs Batman:

IMHO she looks too puny to play a character who is only DC female that stands up there with Superman and Batman and holds her own against them. There were rumors few years back when Megan Fox was supposed to play her. And jokes aside I like her better than Gal Gadot She just looks more sturdier to play Greek born half goddess who kicks but! I admit Gal Gadot looks like it could throw some sharp punches but not like she can take something stronger on.

So far I like how artist Alex Ross draws her the best:

This is kinda an issue for me because she is such an awesome character that originated in graphic novels but was never fully realized and I believe that DC will botch her in the movie. She was often abused and portrayed in degrading ways – she would mostly end up tied up like a helpless female which she is not! IMO they don’t have the balls to make her as tough and badass as she should be and this link proves it:
