This is YA triology by spanish author Carlos Ruiz Zafón. First book The Prince of the Mist was published in 1993. and launched the authors career.
Followed by The Midnight Palace and The Watcher in the Shadows
All three make an excellent summer reading material and are rather poetic in their metaphors and writing style. It is the perfect blend of light read and intelligent read.
