I’m not American so the whole concept of this holiday eludes me. But when I think about American culture and fighting for freedom this is what stands out on my bookshelf.
This is a story about native American fourteen year old boy from the Spokane Indian Reservation who upon realizing the truth about his past, present and the future stands up and decides to make a change.
This is a funny gut wrenching story that struck me as inspiring
