Book a Day I read because of my reading club – August 2018
Cat’s Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut was a book our book club decided to read in June 2015. At the time I was intrigued by the author and I remember exploring Croatian translation and the cultural impact of this book. The phrases and quotes were very thought inspiring!
A lot of things happened since then and some of our reader members have moved to different cities and we gained some new members as well. When I look back on this book I think I read trough it too fast. I wonder if I were to propose to my book club to have another reading of this book would there be any new topics of discussion we might bring to light now that we missed last time.
I do believe this book has a lot more to offer than we anticipated back then and I feel this author could use more attention in the book club as well.
